Performance Venue: The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center opened its doors in July, 1987, and in the last 20 years has welcomed 10 million guests! TBPAC is located downtown on a picturesque nine-acre site along the east bank of the Hillsborough River. As the largest performing arts complex south of the Kennedy Center, the 335,000 square-foot TBPAC provides an environment for a wide variety of world-class events.  The performing arts complex consists of five distinct theaters. The Midwinter convention’s contests and shows will be held in the beautiful Carol Morsani Hall (2,610 seats)

Tampa has all of the attributes that make Florida one of the world's favorite destinations, including major theme parks and attractions. Three of the 10 best beaches are just minutes away.  The 2009 Super Bowl was held in Tampa.

Tee time anyone? Dozens of pristine golf courses await. Tampa Bay is a golfer's paradise, home to dozens of golf courses and host to major golfing events like the senior Champions Tour Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am. Try your luck year-round at any one of our challenging courses, or sharpen your skills at the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy or Ben Sutton School of Golf.  Don't have a tee time? Don't worry. There are any number of services providing advanced tee time reservation services, golf packages, as well as last minute tee times at our finest courses.

Looking for ways to play in, on, or around the water? From floating along a quiet river to fishing for mighty tarpon, this is the place to splashdown.

Taking a cruise? Cozumel, Key West and the Caymans are just a few destinations that can be found on our itineraries. Indeed, no other place in Florida comes close to equaling the combination of Tampa Bay's natural beauty and man-made wonders.

Getting there:  Centrally located, Tampa International Airport is just seven miles west of downtown Tampa. Tampa International Airport offers 273 daily nonstop scheduled departures to 68 domestic destinations and 42 weekly nonstop scheduled departures to five international markets.

The average taxi from Tampa International Airport to downtown is $20 - $22, and there is a minimum $10 fare.  Most hotels offer shuttle service to the airport and major attractions.

Getting around:  All hotels are within a short walk of the venue.
