| International Convention DVDs
In a discussion on the Society's Blog back in May many of you chimed in with your input about content/features you'd like to have on this year's DVDs. The general consensus was "more songs from our top groups on two separate (one chorus, one quartet) dual-layer DVDs." By now you've probably noticed that IS what we are putting together for you...and they are almost complete. DVDs containing this much content requires a great deal of licensing work...as many of you may recall from the delay on the Denver Convention DVDs back in 2007. While we are still waiting on a few final contracts from copyright holders to allow us to use certain songs for this year's DVDs, we anticipate wrapping those up shortly. We're still planning to have the DVDs shipped before Christmas; the current estimated shipping date for the DVDs is December 18. If anything changes we will let you know.
The Quartet DVD features four songs from Crossroads, three songs from each other medalist quartet, and two songs from quartets 6-20. PLUS bonus material!
2009 International Choruses (Dual Layer) DVD features two songs from choruses finishing 1-10 (with one exception due to licensing) and one song from choruses 11-29. PLUS bonus material!
