| NOTICE: Music Director Vacancy
The Stone Mountain Chorus, located in Atlanta, GA, has a vacancy for a new Music Director beginning in January 2010 for the 65 member chorus. The current director will remain with the chorus and continue to direct until a new director is contracted. Those who are interested in the position may contact Bill Banks, President SMC at (770) 623-4786.
The Stone Mountain Chorus and its 4 registered quartets provide entertainment for Athletic and Social Events, Assisted Living Communities, Corporate Conventions, and Charitable Fund Raisers. The yearly calendar normally includes a Spring Concert, the Barbershop Harmony Society Chorus and Quartet Convention and a fall show with three performances.

ASCAP Show Fees
First of all, thank you for your patience while we finalize the ASCAP details for 2010. We will have the updated Chapter Secretary's Manual and ASCAP show clearance form available by the new year.
If your Chapter has performed any show in 2009 which was not exempt under the copyright law (see section 7.1 of the Chapter Secretary Manual; page 30); the Chapter must pay the minimum fee of $215.00, made payable to Barbershop Harmony Society; 110 7th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37203, attention Accounting Department. Please mail your payment ASAP if your Chapter has not already done so.
If your chapter has had gross ticket sales of more than 44K for 2009, please contact Julie Grower, Library and Licensing Coordinator at

| Harmony U 2010
Harmony U 2010 Registrations and sign up will begin very soon after the New Year. Keep your eye on the HU website, and get ready for another fantastic week at MWSU in St Joe, Mo. (1 - 8 August 2010)! Members price will be $555 this year if you sign up prior to the ides of March.
