Before the Parade Passes You By...

Sign Up To Sing in the Philly 4th of July Parade!

The response on the parade has been pretty good, but we still need more singers to make a really good showing for the Society in the Philly Independence Day Parade on the 4th of July, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. (call time will be 10:30 a.m.) The parade will start in front of Independence Hall and the distance is one mile.

If you want to march, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it now for details.

The songs will be God Bless America (arrangement by Greg Lyne, stock #7641) and Star-Spangled Banner (arrangement by Val Hicks, stock #7643). Music is available at Harmony Marketplace for $1.65 each.

In an effort to be as uniform as possible, we are wearing red or navy shirts (true red and true navy, not shades of, white only if you do not have red or navy), khaki pants (no shorts, but mid-calf capris OK for women).

The group will be directed by Society Music Specialist James Estes, and will be limited to 300 singers.  No rehearsal involved.  Sign up NOW for this memorable event!

THANKS!

Speed-Painter Greg Pappas Appearing
in Philly to Benefit the Society

Great music becomes amazing art when Greg Pappas works his speed-painting magic on canvas.  Pappas will perform during intermissions on the Main Stage at International 2010, and will also be in the Market Place for individual sittings.  His works will raise funds for the Society, and YOU might have an opportunity to take home one of his creations.

Pappas' clients have included McDonald's, Senor Frog's, Hyatt Regency, The Ritz Carlton, and Christian Dior. As a friend and supporter of The Alexandria Harmonizers and the Big Apple Chorus, Greg is thrilled to be participating in this year's Internationals.
