Sing, as sung by Pentatonix

Sing was written by the a cappella supergroup Pentatonix and featured as the third single from their self-titled album, which debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The group became a household name by winning the third season of the NBC hit show The Sing-Off, and has since amassed a huge following on YouTube and through social media.

Perfect for youth camps, mixed harmony events, or any group looking to try out a more contemporary a cappella style, this arrangement is best when performed with a loose, relaxed feel. During the Rap section at ms. 85, get the other voices to join in with the basses on the root rhythms in unison to help lock in the groove. Claps, Snaps, and Stomps are clearly marked and are encouraged to be performed as-written to add percussive energy to the performance. Have some fun!

Arranger Wayne Grimmer works as a Music Educator for the Barbershop Harmony Society where he is involved directly with the Nashville music community. Wayne is the principal arranger and lead singer of his quartet Round Midnight , and his published arrangements include Fight Song, All About that Bass, and Sugar by Maroon 5.
