From 1957-2003, the historic Alford Mansion in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was home to the Barbershop Harmony Society. This beautiful Tudor-revival building was built in 1928 at a cost of more than $500,000 Depression-era dollars. In 1976, an additional facility on Sheridan Road was purchased and renovated to house ever-expanding headquarters operations. However, it was the Alford Mansion that members and the public remember as Harmony Hall. In 2003, both buildings were sold to private investors, but the memories of “Camelot-on-the-Lake” remain with the thousands of Barbershoppers and guests who visited the mansion through the years.
