Sweet Adelines International

Meet the women of Sweet Adelines International, sharing the vision of a world of song. Sweet Adelines International, a nonprofit music education organization for women, was founded in 1945. Today the organization has more than 30,000 members in more than 600 chapters in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Mexico and six countries in Europe.

The mission of the organization is to advance the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance. Through its outreach program, Young Women in Harmony, educational materials about the art form are distributed free to any vocal music teacher who requests the information.

Harmony, Incorporated

Meet the barbershop singers of Harmony Inc. an international organization of women. Harmony, Incorporated, an organization of women who sing in the barbershop style, was founded in 1959. The organization is dedicated to preserving the barbershop style of music and educating its members, women of all ages, in the art of its performance.

Since 1959, the organization has expanded from its Eastern roots to include chapters in the United States and Canada from California to Newfoundland, and from Alaska to Florida.

Holland Harmony (Ladies Association of Dutch Barbershop Singers)

Mixed Barbershop Harmony Quartet Association

Bring together men and women, throw in some barbershop chords, and you have recipe for fun sing. The Mixed Harmony Barbershop Quartet Association (MHBQA) is comprised of men and women who sing "mixed" barbershop harmony. A relatively new form, mixed barbershop quartets are growing in popularity as men and women find new ways to share their mutual love of harmony.

Contemporary A Cappella Society

Vocal bands, Gregorian chant, doo-wop, swing, barbershop – all manner of groups celebrating the human voice are federated by the Contemporary A Cappella Society.

Tokyo Barbers

(English and Japanese) While not an affiliate organization, these guys are spreading barbershop harmony throughout Japan! They “stole the show” in 2000 at the World Harmony Jamboree.
