2012 International Youth Barbershop Chorus Festival

January 20-21, Tucson, Arizona

*Choruses should plan to arrive in Tucson mid-afternoon.

*After arrival, check-in to hotel and get settled, rehearse on your own

• Information concerning formal rehearsal areas/times was e-mailed to all chorus contacts and directors

5:00pm - Introduction/Welcome (Cochise Room - Convention Center)

5:30pm - Dinner provided by Harmony Foundation with Harmony Foundation donors (Cochise Room - Convention Center)

7:30pm – Depart for TCC Music Hall for Friday evening show 

8:00pm – Friday Evening Show, featuring Masterpiece, A Mighty Wind, and Main Street (3rd, 4th, 5th place International Bronze Medalist quartets from 2011)

10:00pm – Tag-singing, social time, rehearsal (on your own)

Saturday, January 21

*Breakfast on your own

*Warm-up, rehearsal

•  Information concerning formal rehearsal areas/times was e-mailed to all chorus contacts and directors

*Lunch on your own

10:45am – 2012 International Youth Barbershop Chorus Festival Begins

            -          Draw for the Festival order of appearance is below

            -          Each Youth Chorus sings a three song set

~4:00pm – Youth Chorus Evaluations with Judging Panel

*Dinner on your own

8:00pm – Saturday Evening Show, featuring Old School and Musical Island Boys (2011 Gold and Silver Medalist quartets)

10:00pm – ? - Tag-singing, social time, etc.

Sunday, January 22

*Depart Tucson.  Check-out of your hotel according to hotel's check-out policy.
