2020 International Convention Registration Options

Information for Convention Ticket Holders

Thank you for purchasing a registration for the 2020 International Convention with the Barbershop Harmony Society. As we shared in our March 25 announcement, unfortunately the convention has been cancelled in accordance with the state and national advisories around health precautions during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

There are several options in place for individuals who have purchased a registration for the cancelled 2020 International Convention in Los Angeles, including transferring the registration to the 2021 International Convention in Cleveland, making a donation to support BHS activities and programs, or requesting a refund.

Purchasers who do not indicate their registration preference by April 24, 2020 will see an automatic transfer of their registration to the 2021 International Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

The options outlined below pertain to BHS event registrations purchased through Eventbrite, our ticketing partner, and not to hotel or other travel reservations.

Step One

Review the following LA 2020 registration options:

  1. Donate all, half, or other amount to support the programs of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Any portion not donated will be refunded to the original form of payment.
  2. Transfer registration to Cleveland 2021 and receive priority seating and housing options.
  3. Refund the full amount to the original form of payment. If the original form of payment is no longer valid, Eventbrite will let us know and Customer Service will contact you to issue a refund in another form.

Step Two

Submit your request by April 24, 2020* using this form: LA 2020 Convention Registration Refund/Transfer Options.

Please note that you will need to include your order number when submitting your request. Your order number can be found on the actual ticket or the email confirmation you received when you originally purchased your tickets.

Refunds will be processed beginning on April 27. It may take a few weeks for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

*If we do not receive your response by April 24, your registration will automatically be transferred to Cleveland 2021. You may still request a refund or make a donation after April 24 and before registrations go on sale, but refund requests made after April 24 will experience delayed processing.
