ASCAP Reporting Form for 2023
The Barbershop Harmony Society has a blanket agreement with ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) to pay significantly reduced licensing fees for all U.S. chapters and ensuring their legal compliance for live, in-person public performances of the songs represented by ASCAP.
As a friendly reminder, All U.S. Chapters and Districts must complete an annual ASCAP Reporting Form and submit it (with corresponding payment, if applicable) by the end of each calendar year.
(NOTE: For older forms, click here to view the older forms located in the Member Center. Member login required)
If your chapter is not producing any shows (free, benefit or ticketed) with live, in-person public performances during the year 2023, a form is still required by completing Section A.
Districts, if you hosted or produced a show as a part of your convention, or perhaps had a show as a part of a youth event, you are liable for an ASCAP report and applicable fee. Otherwise, please complete Section A.

PLEASE NOTE: BMI/SESAC Show Clearance Forms/Payments for U.S. Chapters are to be sent to districts (or their assignee) for processing for each in-person show produced by your group. Districts may also use this form for show/event reportings.
Canadian Chapters/Districts: SOCAN/Entandem reporting requirements must be satisfied by your group for public performances. Do not utilize ASCAP or BMI/SESAC report forms for this.
