How to participate: technology and software

Hardware

To get the best experience of Virtual Harmony University, you will need a device with access to the Internet and speakers or headphones to listen. You can choose and switch among your desktop, laptop, tablet, or even on a smartphone— wherever you are comfortable and have a reliable connection.

Software/apps
We will be using Zoom for our live classes, which you can download here. Other than that, all content is viewable in your web browser.

  • Sched, our conference platform, is a web-based program, meaning you don’t have to have any special equipment to participate.
  • All the links to live sessions will be posted to the individual classes within the VHU Sched Event, as well as all class recordings, where you will be able to view them at your leisure.
  • Posting times may vary based on volume but in general, expect the recording to be available 24 hours after the class has finished.

Replays

  • Each session will be recorded and posted for each course. After a course has aired live, a recording of that session will be added to the class page in Sched.
  • Delayed viewing will be available for viewing until January 1, 2023.
  • Posting times may vary based on volume but in general, expect the recording to be available 24 hours after the class has finished.
