What is Harmony University?
The Music Educator Seminar is just a part of the largest education event of the year in barbershop … Harmony University. No, it’s not a ‘real’ university, but it is a highly educational experience for music lovers.
Every summer for the past 50 years, hundreds of barbershop enthusiasts (chorus members, directors, leadership, quartetters) from all over the world converge on a college campus for Harmony University. It’s a full week of singing, instruction, fellowship, ice cream, and more singing into the wee hours - it’s like summer camp for barbershoppers!
Of course this year is different, and we can’t gather for an in-person event. So we’re moving the event online - Virtual Harmony University! And instead of a jam-packed schedule from early morning to late at night for a week, we’re spreading out this year’s activities, a few hours each day, across the month of July!
In addition to your free Music Educators Seminar, you are welcome to join us and register for any other Virtual Harmony University activities (at regular prices).
