REAL ID required for U.S. Domestic travel
Beginning May 7, 2025 every state and territory resident will need to present a REAL ID compliant license/ID, OR another acceptable form of identification to board commercial aircraft. A current, valid passport is acceptable.
All U.S. states and territories offer REAL ID compliant identification. The program was initiated several years ago, and you may already have obtained a REAL ID on your last license renewal. Learn more at dhs.gov/real-id/are-you-real-id-ready
Travel document for guests travelling from outside the U.S.
