![]() | First Take 2022 International 5th-Place Bronze Medalist Alex Corson, Tony Colosimo, Drew Wheaton, Andrew Havens From the moment the audience reeled in delight as First Take hit the tag of their first song in Charlotte "Santa Fe", it was obvious we were in for an exciting week for these guys. Song after song, tag after tag, it just kept getting better and better with audience members exploding out of their seats time and again. First Take managed to earn a 5th-Place bronze medal in just their first appearance at International with three sets that can be described as exciting, heartfelt, dynamic, and extremely powerful. We're extremely excited to have them with us at Midwinter! |

![]() | Throwback 2022 International 3rd-Place Bronze Medalist Alex Rubin, Sean Devine, Dan Rubin, Michael Skutt “I Want You to Want Me” is the Cheap Trick rock anthem that nobody but Throwback and arranger Aaron Dale knew would be the week’s most sonically and visually electric performance in Charlotte, earning them the highest score of any song from a quartet not named Quorum. Since 2012, Throwback has been setting new standards in quartet excellence and flare with a solid brand and style all their own. With cutting-edge arrangements, a sound that blows the roof off any venue, and with charm that instantly wins over ANY audience, Throwback will leave you in awe. ![]() | GQ 2022 International 4th-Place Bronze Medalist Amanda Sandroni, Ali Hauger, Katie Gillis, Katie Macdonald GQ (MAD) firmly established themselves as an audience favorite when they lit up the Charlotte stage with three incredibly passionate, fun, and fearless sets and earned themselves a coveted quartet bronze medal in their first BHS contest appearance at International. GQ continues to set new standards of musical excellence and unbridled authenticity that instantly connects with and captures the heart of the audience, if the reaction from the crowd at Charlotte is ANY indication! |
![]() | Newly-crowned Seniors Quartet Champion Be sure to catch the Seniors Quartet Contest on Saturday at 11 a.m. to see who wins |
![]() | Vocal Spectrum 2006 International Quartet Champion Tim Waurick, Eric Dalbey, Jonny Moroni, Chris Hallam There are simply not enough superlatives to describe the musical consistency and excellence of our 2006 champ quartet Vocal Spectrum, a quartet that inexplicably seems to just get better and better as time goes by. Their vast repertoire and deep collection of ground-breaking recordings has set a standard few quartets, much less few musical ensembles in general have been able to match. We're honored to have them join us at Daytona Beach this Midwinter! |
![]() | Quorum 2022 International Quartet Champion Puck Ross, Mike Slamka (subbing for Quorum's lead Chris Vaughn who was unable to attend), Nathan Johnston, Gary Lewis From the moment Quorum hit the stage in Charlotte in the quarterfinals, to the moment they hit their last chord on Saturday night in the Finals, it was clear to everyone, especially the judges, who would win the elusive gold medal in Charlotte last July. From heart-wrenching ballads that brings tears to your eyes, to ear-splitting chords that can peel the paint off the walls, Quorum truly takes advantage of every amazing aspect of our art form with grace, power, and aplomb. Quorum is grateful to have legendary lead Mike Slamka (gold medalist with Power Play in 2003, and Crossroads in 2009) fill in for lead Chris Vaughn in Daytona Beach this year, as unfortunately Chris had an unavoidable conflict. HUGE thanks to Mike for stepping in and making it possible for Quorum to celebrate their gold medal win and their incredible music with us at Midwinter! |

The Festivals, Contests, and all shows will be streamed live!

Congratulations to all our 50-year members. We are so grateful for the gift of your many years of service and harmony!
