Blue Valley Chorale named Audience Favorite

A haunting, heartfelt performance of Radiohead’s “Creep” helped propel the Blue Valley High School Chorale of Overland Park, Kansas, to winning the Audience Favorite Award at the Next Generation Barbershop Junior Varsity Chorus Festival. The 25-singer ensemble emerged as favorite among 7 groups appearing at the event, held in Daytona Beach, Florida, at the Barbershop Harmony Society Midwinter Convention.

In the festival format, choruses are recognized with level rankings, and an overall favorite is selected by audience ballot.
