As a cappella groups continue to fill the airwaves, Boston-based Vocal Revolution Chorus (NED) is adding their sound to the mix! Their first round of the competition airs this week… only the top eight groups advance to the final episodes.
WGBH is proud to present Sing That Thing!, a new local series showcasing New England’s best amateur singing groups in a friendly competition that celebrates the diversity and joy of song making.Twenty-three groups were selected from a field of more than 50 to perform during the inaugural season ofSing That Thing!
“Vocal Revolution, a barbershop quartet under the direction of Dan Costello, has 50 members from the Greater Boston area and rehearse in Temple Emunah on Piper Road.
‘For most of us, this is a passion. Each project is an opportunity to showcase our talent and we take advantage of that,’ said Vocal Revolution Assistant Director and lead melody singer Joey Constantine.”
