Bill Stauffer named Director of Music and Education

Veteran Barbershopper, arranger, quartetter, and chorus director Bill Stauffer has joined the BHS staff.

He brings more than three decades of leadership experience across the nonprofit and technology sectors, more than 40 years of barbershop experience, and an abiding love for building community through song.

Bill has competed internationally in multiple quartets, arranged music performed by international champion ensembles, and directed choruses at the highest levels, including three consecutive International top 10 finishes with Voices of Gotham.

Throughout his career in large volunteer-based organizations, Bill has seen firsthand what can happen when passionate people unite around a common goal. Bill completed his undergraduate studies in Music Education at Westminster Choir College. Bill and his wife, Terri –a master educator– are the proud parents of four adult children and share their home with one very special dog.
