Member Center is getting an upgrade!

Member Center is getting an upgrade

We’re redesigning Member Center with your feedback in mind

When we launched the Member Center in 2017, we asked our chapter leaders and members to let us know what we could do to continue to improve their user experience and overall functionality.

Since then, Member Center has undergone several minor changes and updates based on that feedback, but as time goes on we have recognized a need for a more robust platform to accommodate the needs of our singing communities and members, particularly as we expand and welcome more people into the world of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

BHS staff has been working with volunteer leaders from across the Society, doing our best to listen to your needs. Our goal with the upgrade to Member Center is to make your experience more intuitive and just all-around easier!

We hope you’ll notice improved readability, search functionality, and access to the information you need to make your singing community (district, chapter, chorus, quartet, club) healthier than ever before.

The upgraded Member Center will offer:

  • More robust reporting options to help you manage your roster
  • Chat groups for community leader correspondence and communications
  • Easier and more intuitive account access and management
  • Quick links to frequently-used BHS resources, including our Singing Community and Chapter Finder, HU Online, the latest copy of The Harmonizer magazine, and Doc Center
  • ...and more!

Launch planned for late 2020

We’re aiming to launch our upgrades to Member Center by the end of the year. All members will be prompted to update their password at that time.

We are planning to keep making improvements to the new Member Center so that you get the most out of the platform! Keep up to date with our progress, including updates and “How-To” tutorials, at barbershop.org/newmembercenter.
